Location : The Corbett National Park is located in the foothills of Himalayas, in the northern Indian state of Uttranchal.

An Overview : Once the hunting ground of the British, Jim Corbett National Park was set up in 1936 with the help of World Wildlife Fund. It was named in the honour of the famous hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett who contributed a lot in setting up the park. It has a wide varieties of plant and animal species including the majestic tigers, leopards and elephants. In the year 1973, the park came under the "Project Tiger Scheme" to preserve the population of tigers. It is the first national park of India to come under this project.

Wildlife Attractions : The Corbett National Park is home to a large number of wildlife species including 110 tree species, 50 mammal species and 580 bird species.

» Flora - A major portion of the park consists of trees like Sal, Chir, Anauri, Bakli, Bamboo, Haldu and several others.
» Fauna - The park is popular for its population of Bengal Tiger and elephant. Other wildlife in the park includes leopard, small indian civet, Indian Gray Mongoose, Common Otter, Jungle Cat, Sloth bears, Black naped grey hare, Langur, Sambar deer, Barking deer, Porcupine etc.
» Avi-fauna - Corbett has around 580 bird species including Crested kingfisher, Darters, Eagles, Hornbills, Barbets, Peacocks, Sandpiper, Ducks, Jungle fowl and many more. Its rich bird life makes it one of the popular birdwatching spots in India.

DAY  1   : Meeting Point OldDelhi Station. for board train to Ramnagar by Ranikhet Exp. at 22.00 pm.

DAY  3   : Arrive at Ramnagar at 06.00 am. and depart for Dhikala by road.
 Evening safari.

DAY  4   :
Morning safari. Evening safari.

DAY  5   :
Morning safari. After Lunch short round at near Dhikala Rest House depart to Ramnagar.
              After Dinner depart for Ramnagar Station to board Ranikhet Exp. at 22.00 pm.

Day  6   : Arrive Delhi at 5.00 am.

Batch 2 : 13th to 16th May 2017
              (Similar program can be organised for your group of minimum 15 people)
